The Sepulveda VA Medical Center - Northridge is an institution situated inside the San Fernando Valley, fifteen miles to the northwest from Los Angeles. Participants who successfully complete the program usually attend group therapy sessions to ensure they stay in line and keep their relapse.

There are some who oppose the idea to transform the facility into an outpatient clinic assert that the facility is less appealing for veterans. They argue that driving to the VA is going to be an obstacle for many. But, there are those who would prefer the hospital remain as an institution.
